Short: NEWMANHATTAN Bitmapped Font for Amiga
Author: isgrub@hawks.bps.montana.edu (James Grubic)
Uploader: isgrub@hawks.bps.montana.edu (James Grubic)
Type: text/font
A nice non-proportional Workbench Icon font for Hi-Res Laced or higher
resolution screens. In ages past, someone took the time to convert the
Mac font "New York" to the Amiga. However, they left many of the garbage
characters in place, and you could see them in certain situations.
In this update called New Manhattan, I've replaced most of the funky
Mac characters with proper Amiga equivalents, which should make some
non-English speaking folks happy. A few wierd characters are still in
the font, but they aren't in any crucial areas.
This font is not perfect. I wasn't happy with the numbers so I did a
little work on them. They still are a little strange. For the most
part though, this font will look very nice on a high resolution
Workbench.
